Would you and your family like to become members of Camp LUCK? Membership in this organization is free and open to family members and caregivers of children with heart disease as well as those with an interest or background in diagnosing, treating and/or supporting patients with CHDs.
We welcome all CHD patients, parents or families for membership; regardless of where any treatment has been given in the past or will be given in the future.
Once you have completed the membership form, you will begin receiving communications from Camp LUCK about future events. We hope to see you soon!
Camp LUCK Kids Camp and Family Camp is run by Director Jay “Bird” Thompson and Assistant Director Dr. René Herlong. Together, they have more than a half-century of experience in summer camping at Camp Cherokee. Camps are supervised by experienced professional staff from Camp Cherokee as well past superstars from camp whom are hand-picked by Bird and are the best of the best.
For Kids Camp, volunteer cabin counselors are chosen among hospital staff, friends, parents and Camp Cherokee alumni who have a passion to create a life-changing experience for our campers. Each staff member is carefully selected and vetted. Safety is our first priority at Camp LUCK.
Fundraisers/Events: Help with various fundraising efforts by assisting or just attending the events. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in helping out!
Family Camp: Kitchen staff, cleaning staff, check-in and check-out, pre/post preparations and maintenance of camp facility. Registration closes February 2, 2018.
